- I began making lanyards a year ago after I had surgery on my neck and had to wear one for work. I wanted something lightweight that didn't pull on my neck. I fell in love with working with beads. Since then I have started my own business. I have a store on Ebay , Karen's Artistic Touches. I now make several different jewelry pieces. My mother has to wear a medical ID tag, so I began making bracelets that attach to an ID tag for her and began selling them in my store. My grandmother has breast cancer so I have created several Breast Cancer Awareness pieces that have become big sellers in my store. I am always happy to specially design any piece for you.
