New Pendant Work

Purple Crazy Lace Agate Pendant

Well it has been an extremely busy weekend. The kids can't hardly keep up with all their homework. And of course, I have been putting mine off. So I have told myself that this week I have to hit it hard. I had to take my daughter and her friend to UIS for a Hadron Collider Lecture so they could get extra credit. WOW was that the most boring time to be had. There is no way that a bunch of 13 & 14 year old kids would have the slightest clue what they were talking about. And they aren't even discussing this in her class.

Since my daughter spent most of the weekend on her homework, I decided I should try to do the wire work on the pendant she picked out at the bead show a month ago. It took me over 2 hours just to do the pendant. I have been told that it will get easier the more I do. I can't wait for that to happen! This is a dyed crazy lace agate pendant. it is large at 2" long. I used purple wire and non-tarnish silver wire. We were so excited about how well it turned out! She says she is going to wear it to school tomorrow.

  3. Karenyour jewellery is beautiful. This purple pendant is particularly striking. I like the quirky and zany touch of those spirals and i have no doubt that with practise it will be easier for you lol :)
